If only we could fully express our love for the wonder that is Basement Bhangra… well, in case you didn’t know we LOVE it. And it just so happens that today is the first Thursday of the month so it’s time to get down to some sweet Bhangra tunes and raise those shoulders like a pro. If you’re feeling a bit shy, the free Mojitos from 7-8 are sure to loosen your shoulders up. Chak de phatte! (which, to those of you unfamiliar with the languages of South Asia, means get down and party!)

Well, well, well look who’s one of the featured artists at this summer’s Midsummer Night’s Swing. SOB’s favorite and Basement Bhangra host will be spinning July 8th as a part of the Lincoln Center summer program. Way to spread the Bhangra love! Can’t wait to see everyone breaking it down at Lincoln Center.
